Strike a pose..

Last weekend at Michael deMeng’s class, I started a second shoe shrine…I was able to work on it today and made some progress. I am still on the hunt for some religious medals I have stashed around here somewhere..those will get added one day. This shrine features a curled toe- perfect for Artword’s theme this week, “Curl”. Unlike my other shoe shrine, this shrine comes out from the wall.

Thank you for coming by today!

Very cool. What does this one mean? I can't wait to see these in person.

This shrine is dedicated to the virgin Mary...pictured on the transparency.. The text around the shrine highlights catholic prayers to Mary.

Your shoe shrine is awesome... it made me wish to create and wear shoes with the MdM treatment. I wonder what would people say ;-)

Another fab shrine. I love the fact that it started life as a mundane shoe, but is now so much more. This really is art!
