Let's see... I don't have anything fun to say.. my flu shot arm has reutned to normal. The day I got the shot (last week) it hurt so bad!... I used up all of the blue toned collage paper, so I am going to turn to some new projects this week...I think I'll make some new wrapped canvas..stay tuned!

I was able to load in some new items into the shop last night.. it feels good to be able to cross that off my list. I feel anxious when I am in the process of making projects.. paint, let it dry, add this, let it dry, add this too, let that dry. I've been working on these pieces since I started the collage background last week! Done.

Since I creeped everyone out yesterday, I thought I would offer a nice treat for you all today! I made the painting at the top of this post with a vintage ephemera collage background. I love you more every day..

I wince every time my sewing machine needle enters one of these...will it make it? So far so good. I am obsessed with making these thick as bricks...as a matter of fact, I am sure some countries would consider this building material..it is that thick and heavy!

Where have I been? I've been here actually...pretty sick for a while. I am still on the up swing. The Carry-On is still sick, but she too is on the mend. I think we'll be ready for this Saturday's festivities..

I had a tough time coming up with something for Isa's 'G' project. I actually had to look through the dictionary for words that started with the letter 'G'... Spin and Splash background using gold and silver alcohol ink mixatives. justjohanna images.

Wednesday Stamper: Eggs

ATC (Artist Trading Card) made with Basic Grey paper and blue vellum. I machine stitched the layers together with gold metallic thread and attached the quote. ) I ran newsprint through my printer and aged it a tad with distress ink.) Image: Cavallini.

Would you believe I have amassed approximately 22 justjohanna bird images and not one egg?? The other shocker? I DO own stamps other than justjohanna. Haha!

Well, I am still hunched over the lap top, waiting for my "normal" computer to come back, but I am making it ok. I made this Stampbord ATC while with the CCCC yesterday. We had a great time, but the Mercury Retrograde sure was rearing its ugly head. Jilly and I were in a funk all day. I forced myself to make a couple of small things while I wrapped up the details on the Carry-On's Father's Day present. Debbie, Auntie Stu, Cat and Johanna seemed to weather the retrograde much better than us weaklings.
