Meet Mrs. J. Townsend

Alphabet: unkown, flourish: justjohanna rubber stamps

Isa's is up to letter F this week. To make this card, I scanned in Mrs. Townsend's pass to the 1916 World's Fair (flea market find), which took place in my home town, San Diego, CA. I read that the fair played an important part in making San Diego what it is today, and before 1916 fairs were mostly held in large, already established cities around the world. I used walnut Distress Ink (Ranger) on the current map. I wonder if Mrs. Townsend had a good time....

Asolutely fantastic work. I'll bet she had a grand time at the fair. She probably met her new husband there.
