I’ll get this party started, but you have to play along too! In 1989, I was coming to terms with the fact that I would never get to sit beside Joe Knisely again… I rebelled against the staff in high school by wearing shorts under my graduation gown (ok…technically they were culottes..). I was rockin the New Order, Love and Rockets and probably Inxs. I think by that time the heavy metal phase had passed and we all were off to the beach! Dude!

I was exiting college and getting a real job! Ah, The Love Shack...still want to move when I hear that one.

Joe Kniseley... I forgot about your crush on him. We were busy eating at Rubio's and El Indio. How did we manage to stay slim. I'm craving mini morditias.

I don't see it on the list - but Tom Petty's "Free Fallin" is one of my fave's from that year.
It reminds me of my DD who was born in October of 1989... :)

OMG, Funky Cold Medina!! haha If I'm ever at a party and I've had things to drink and that song comes on, look out! I've been known to dance with myself if no one wants to dance to that dumb song. Don't tell anyone. It's a secret between you and me now.

Does anyone know how to contact Joe Kniseley? I used to date his sister Sandy and would love to get in touch with him again after 21 years! Have him contact me at: www.myspace.com/damgoodbuildr
