HaPpY SAtuRDaY

Things are going well in Luggage World. I received a new Digital SLR camera on Thursday and am busily learning how to use all the bells and whistles. When I was in high school and college, there was no such thing as a digital SLR. We had to record all of the settings on scratch paper and hope that once we developed the negatives, we could match up the frames with the setting information so that we could learn DOF. Now, I can sit in a chair and take 900 pictures of a hydrangea with every setting combination possible and instantly see all of the results! It’s really AMAZING! I can shoot something insane like 24 pictures in 9 seconds or something crazy like that.

Almost all of the pictures are of the Carry-on so far. I am in love with being able to capture her beautifully with my new super camera. I can’t get enough! I am sure she is sick of me already.

I have also been in stockpiling mode. (Which is not a good mode to be in when you are planning to sell your house and move.) This happens to me every once in a while… I have been searching and buying all sorts of “junk” to make altered art with. I think I have to sit myself down and make something now. (Which is good, since I am out of money!)

See you tomorrow!

What type of camera do you have and what did it run $$ you? I am thinking of purchasing one and would like a review if possible.

I love B&W photos. I hope you get some good ones of Miss CarryOn.

I purchased the Canon Rebel xti with an add on lens. My recommendation to you is to read the Consumer Reports website. This was their favorite camera. I always refer to their website when buying electronics, autos, appliances and they have never let me down. :) www.consumerreports.org.

I now see why you are distracted from stamping... this camera is just cool. Mine is old but good enough to photo my cards. :)

How exciting! Enjoy your new toy!

Remember that bribery works wonders in getting small people to cooperate.

Fortunately pets and flowers don't require bribery!
