Wednesday Stamper: Inchies

An inchie is what it sounds like; a project measureing one inch square. The key for me on these was to make them on a sheet of paper and then cut them out after all of the embellishing took place. I used acrylic paint to make the background, added text pages, more paint, justjohanna images and then vintage text. Finally, machine stitching and beeswax finished them off. My favorite is the middle inchie. How about yours?

OMG, you've caught the inchie bug. LOL. Visually, I like the middle one but, I love the sentiment on the right one. So true.

Loved hearing about your techniques..and these are such fun inchies...I love that 'ladies eat on holidays'...now isn't that just so true...grin. I haven't tried beeswax but I have...(confession time) dipped an inchie in a Hallmark candle ...melted kind. Whats the difference? Could you tell me why not to use the melted scent candles versus beeswax?

Hey, these are cool. What do you do with an inchie? I'm guessing you put it on another card? Great idea to cut them out after embellishing. It would be a PITA to do it afterwards. 1" is very small.

Love the big teacup on the left, but the middle one sort of sparkles in the group. Not brave enough to try such a small canvas yet. You did it beautifully.
