l'amour

This is what I have been waiting to show you! God bless Dick Blick! My order came in today. I couldn't post this without the proper Julification; and I needed my Blick order to do so.

Last weekend I learned all about making transfers using Golden mediums and paints. This is an 8x10 canvas board that I started during the class. On the first day, we prepared the surface and attached the transfers. (In this case, "Seeds" and the floral image are both transfers.) On the second day of class, we exposed the transfers and finished up with the painting. It was a FANTASTIC class!

The teacher (Chris Cozen) told us about a Sharpie "paint" pen that I knew I needed to buy. That's what came in from Blick. (The white Julification pictured.)

justjohanna images, Golden acrylics, Sharpie, Pitt and vintage French text. Thank you for stopping by today!

This is brilliant, The different techniques have come together seamlessly to make a finished piece of art. I love the colours, and the way you have drawn on the image transfer. It sounds like another great class!

It was worth the wait. I love your depth of color. I'm not sure I get the transfer part, but I love the finished piece.
