Love 80's Tuesday, Julie! I'm playing my 80's tunes while I clean up the castle today. I saw the top 7 movies, remember the words to every song, and the headlines except the ship. I was touring Europe with a backpack and Eurail pass Summer of 85....ahhhh!

I remember all but one of the songs. I love all those movies. I'm a dork. Headlines? Well, I've never been one to follow that much. In 1985 I was sending my baby off to kindergarten. Time flies....

Let's see....I can't remember how song number 8 goes...I could safely belt out the others though...beware.

The movies- Beverly Hills Cop and Fletch are my favorites on the list! Ahhh...the days when we actually used to be able to sit through a movie...

That song list would make a nice CD..... hmm....

OMG, I wanna go back to 1985 (except for all that bad newsie stuff. DON'T REMEMBER ANY OF THAT!!) Dh & I started dating in 1985. Fletch was the movie we went to see. {sigh} If I knew then what I know now..... And those songs. Gee, when music was really music (but hairstyles & clothes. YIKES) And, look at the movies. Not one remake, not one taking of an old tv show & making a movie out of it. I actually saw everyone of those movies except Goonies. WOW. DH worked in a grocery store & got off at 10:30, we'd meet, go to dinner and then to a movie. I'd be lucky to get to bed by 2am & then I'd be at work at 8:30. Wow!!! Now, if I'm not in bed by 10, I'm lost for the whole next day!

I just looked thru the list of songs again, except for Wham & We Are the World, we still have all of those songs on cassette. Why we still have cassettes, I don't know. Oh yeah, I still have a cassette player in my car.
